East Africa has excellent safari year-round! The dry seasons (June–October and January–February) are generally considered best for game viewing. The Great Migration river crossings in Masai Mara and Serengeti happen July–October. Gorilla trekking is great year-round but June–September and December–February tend to have drier trail conditions.
Yes — all gorilla permits are included in our Uganda and Rwanda gorilla trekking packages. Permits are limited and often sell out months in advance, so we strongly recommend booking at least 3–6 months ahead to secure your preferred dates.
All packages include: 4×4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, experienced professional guide, accommodation, all park and game reserve fees, park permits, airport transfers, and most meals. International flights, travel insurance, visa fees, and personal expenses are not included. We will always be transparent about exactly what is included.
