This policy explains what personal information Eascope Expeditions collects through eascopeexpeditions.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Who we are

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. There is no account system on this site and we do not require you to register for anything.

Enquiry form

When you send an enquiry through our contact form we receive your first and last name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if you provide one, the destination and safari type you are interested in, your intended travel dates, number of travellers, indicated budget range, and the message you write.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter we receive your email address and nothing else.

Direct contact

If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we hold whatever you send us in that conversation.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a safari quote or itinerary for you.
• To arrange your trip if you go ahead — which means sharing the details necessary for your booking with the lodges, camps, park authorities and permit offices involved.
• To send you our newsletter, if and only if you asked for it.
• To keep records required of a licensed tour operator.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other visitor-tracking service, and we do not build a profile of you as you browse.

Third parties who process data for us

A few outside services are involved in running the site. Each of them may receive your IP address simply because your browser connects to them:

• FormSubmit — receives our contact and newsletter form submissions and forwards them to our email address.
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) — serves the icon font used across the site.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used across the site.
• Our web host — keeps standard server logs, which include visiting IP addresses, as part of normal operation and security.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept while they may still be useful to you and then deleted. Booking records are kept for as long as tax and operator licensing rules in Tanzania require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete what we hold, or stop using it for marketing. Write to [email protected] and we will act on it. If you are in the UK or the European Union you have these rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passport scans, card numbers or other sensitive documents through the website contact form — we will tell you a secure way to send those when the time comes.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Travel details for children on a family booking are provided by the adult making the booking.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
